Pindi Perunnal - Pindi Competition Jesan Varghese got the first prize in the Pindi Contest conducted by the CLC of St.Thomas Cathedral  Irinjalakuda on the Pindi Perunnal day.The Pindi is of height 27.7 feet.The2nd & 3rd places were secured by Champion Fireworks, their Pindi's is of heights 25.5 & 25.4 feets.

The fireshow of Irinjalakuda St.Thomas Cathedral was started by 8pm 0n Sunday 8th January 2012 & Lasted for about 15 Minutes. സെന്റ്‌ തോമസ്‌ കത്തീഡ്രല്‍ ദേവാലയ തിരുനാളിനോടനുബന്ധിച്ച്‌ നടന്ന കരിമരുന്നു പ്രയോഗം വര്‍ണ്ണങ്ങളാലും കാതടപ്പിക്കുന്ന ശബ്ദ തരംഗങ്ങളാലും ശ്രദ്ധേയമായി. ദേവാലയത്തിന്‌ വടക്കു ഭാഗത്തായി സ്റ്റേജിന്‌ മുന്നിലായാണ്‌ കരിമരുന്നു പ്രയോഗത്തിന്‌ വേദിയൊരുക്കിയത്‌. കാതടപ്പിക്കുന്ന്‌ ശബ്ദ തരംഗങ്ങല്‍ ഹൃദയങ്ങളെ പ്രകമ്പനം കൊള്ളിച്ചു. മാനത്ത്‌ സപ്‌ത വര്‍ണ്ണങ്ങള്‍ വിരിഞ്ഞപ്പോള്‍ തടിച്ചുകൂടിയ ആയിരങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സില്‍ ആഹ്ലാദത്തിന്റെ ആരവങ്ങളുയര്‍ന്നു. നൂറുകണക്കിന്‌ മൊബൈല്‍ ഫോണുകളും ഡിജിറ്റല്‍ ക്യാമറകളും വര്‍ണ്ണമഴയെ അഭ്രപാളിയിലേക്ക്‌ പകര്‍ത്തുന്നത്‌ കൗതുകമുണര്‍ത്തുന്ന കാഴ്‌ചയായിരുന്നു.
